Batam, 29 April 2026 — Demonstrating its commitment to social responsibility and long-term community support in Batam, Tuan Sing Holdings Limited carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative titled “Bed of Hope,” led by its team members from Residence on Opus Bay.
Through this initiative, the company donated spring mattresses and bed frames to three orphanages in Batam: Grace Joy Home, Panti Asuhan Ishalul Ummah, and Panti Asuhan Agape. As part of Tuan Sing Holdings’ growing hospitality portfolio in Batam, Residence on Opus Bay comprises Balmoral Tower (hotel) and Cluny Resorts (villas), both currently under development. The properties, together with Opus Bay, are part of a meaningful outreach initiative and are scheduled to open in 2H 2026.
On 29 April 2026, teams were divided into groups and simultaneously visited the three orphanages. At each location, the teams removed old bedding used by the children and replaced them with newly donated mattresses and bed frames. One of the most touching moments came when the children returned from school and were surprised to find their rooms transformed with brand new beds, a simple gesture that brought comfort, dignity, and joy.
The programmed continued with a warm fellowship session between the Residence on Opus Bay team, orphanage caretakers, and the children, before concluding with a group prayer and commemorative photo session. “This is a small initiative, but one that reflects our continued commitment to care, dignity and community support in Batam,” said Alexander Loh, Director of People and Culture at PT Goodworth Investments, a subsidiary of Tuan Sing Holdings.
